Enjoy a friendly feel-good atmosphere
in the rooms & apartments in Filzmoos
Our Gästehaus Herrmann is situated just a ten minute walk away from the resort centre of Filzmoos. The house has a family history: it was built by Elisabeth and Heinz Herrmann in 1980. In order to meet the demands of our dear guests, in 1990 two apartments and a spacious breakfast room was added to the guesthouse. The centrepiece of which is the traditional Austrian tiled wood-burning stove, which is a popular meeting-point in the winter season.
Whilst the warm hospitality and friendly atmosphere has remained, many changes have been made around the house in the past two decades. There have been renovations and extension and a lovingly created garden area was added. In 2017 Heinz and Elisabeth handed the family business down to their son Markus and his wife Simone. They continue to run the Gästehaus Herrmann with lots of love and respect in the way their predecessors did.

Get active outdoors with our own hiking guide and ski instructor!
Even though the house is being run by the next generation, senior boss Heinz still enjoys hiking and skiing with guests. As hiking guide and state qualified ski instructor he loves whizzing down the Filzmoos slopes or showing regular guests the most beautiful spots in the Filzmoos mountains. Nobody knows better when the marmots come out to play at the Bachlalm and where you can enjoy the tastiest treats with your Filzmoos Almcard. The active senior boss only works up a sweat when he's occupying his three grandchildren Viktor, Clara and Jakob.
